Zone Baseball Academy was founded in August 2023 by Daniel Hauben and Ethan Stephans with a 13U and 14U team built on a shared mission: develop high-level players while building a deeper love for the game.

From the beginning, the focus has been on player development, competitive culture, and creating opportunities for athletes to grow both on and off the field. In 2024, the 14U team made national headlines after defeating the No. 1 team in the country, according to Perfect Game. That moment marked a turning point for the program and confirmed what the foundation was built for - competing at the highest level.

Later that same year, Zone Baseball continued its rise when the 18U team earned a national ranking from Perfect Game, further establishing the program as one of the most competitive in the region.

Since its founding, Zone has helped countless athletes develop their skills, grow their confidence, and pursue opportunities to play baseball at the next level. Whether that means competing in college or working toward professional baseball, the goal is always the same: create a clear pathway for each player’s future.

A major part of the program’s philosophy is preparing athletes for life beyond the game. Even if baseball is not a player’s final destination, Zone focuses on building discipline, work ethic, leadership, and accountability - skills that translate directly into success in the real world.

One of the most unique parts of Zone Baseball is its leadership. Daniel Hauben is recognized as the youngest successful club baseball owner in Las Vegas, bringing a fresh, driven, and player-focused approach to the organization.

As we move toward 2026, the vision is simple- take Zone Baseball to the next level, continue producing elite athletes, and expand the impact this program has on every player who wears the jersey.
